    Forbes’ Hip-Hop Cash Kings

    Category Financials

    thePearl Magazine

He’s no Bill Gates (#1 on Forbes 400 -net worth $57 billion) or even a Mark Zuckerberg (#321 on Forbes 400 - net worth $1.5 billion), but according to Forbes.com Curtis “50 cent” Jackson is the top earning hip-hop cash king this year - earning $150 million. That’s nearly twice Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter’s 2008 earnings and at least four times Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kanye West and Timbaland.

Even without producing a hit in years,  Andre “Dr. Dre” Young, banked $15 million from decades of royalties. Tupac Shakur has been dead for over 10 years, but according to Forbes.com, also banked a cool $15 million this year.

thePearl: We’ve got that New Money!

    Category Uncategorized

You’ve got theYBF and the Fashion Bomb keeping you up to date with the latest celebrity gossip and fashion, but “what about the money?”

thePearlMag.com has a new site, new look & all new-content. This time around, we’re calling it “fashion-forward financials.” It’s for all the Pearls who need to know about the money – making it, keeping it, growing it.

I know it’s taking entirely way too long to get the site back up and running, but we need to make sure the design is RIGHT! I recruited Zillz (from Zillasays.com) to hook it up and he is doing a fine job. Not to mention –unlike the old site– everything works this time around. Bear with me while I get posts up by the end of the week.

    Love you much for understanding,

    Gabby R.
